Welcome to my site for Construction Management, First Year Students on DT 149A.
About  Me
I am a qualified Cabinetmaker and I graduated this programme in 1998 when it was originally called The Craft Based Technician Programme.
I have over 26 years teaching experience in TU Dublin (Former DIT) and have taught across all of the wood trades and on the Timber Product Technology Programme DT169 for the last 10 years.
I believe that students learn by doing and use a constructivist approach to my teaching methods. I am an advocator of the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and as such you will find that this website has been designed with the UDL framework in mind.
Material is available in both PowerPoint to allow your to change to a more suitable font and in PDF whereby you can use a screen reader.
On the Mentoring page you will find information and tips that might make your studying at TU Dublin a bit easier.
I hope that you enjoy this module.

Quantitative Methods Cons 2012 Website

This website will be developed as you progress through this module Quantitative Methods. It will be a valuable resource keeping all your content together in one place. This website will be used in conjunction with Brightspace and Bongo.

Virtual classes will be delivered through Bongo and Coursework will be posted here and on Brightspace. You will be required to submit assignments through Brightspace. You will be shown how to do this.

This website has Tabs across the top of the page you are currently on the Home page click each week to navigate to that page. When you are finished reading this page click Week 1 to bring you to the page displaying material from your first class.

When will material be added to this website?

Material will be added on a regular basis and you will be expected to read, view, evaluate and or carry out tasks in keeping with the blended learning element of this module. Sometimes you will be asked to view material in preparation for class so read your emails daily. Make sure that you forward your college emails to your own email that you use daily.

Click on the titles at the top of this page to bring you to a different topic. On each page you will find some useful information, class notes, PDF's, Power Point presentations and videos relating to your module as well as links to external webpages.

Finally, I would appreciate any feedback that you can give me, on how you found this website as a teaching platform. If you have any comments or suggestions please feel free to share them with me. Email: Jennifer.Byrne@tudublin.ie
